Our history
It all began in March 2009, in Brandenburg an der Havel. The managing director of Faimex Consulting GmbH gained his first experience of independent sales from March 2009 onwards. Anyone who sells on their own account quickly learns just how much depends on a single sale: the right product, the right description, and a parcel that arrives in one piece.
In 2011, the business moved to Frankfurt (Oder), and that was deliberate. The town is situated on the River Oder, right on the border with Poland, on the A12 motorway between Berlin and Poland. From here, it is a short distance to the Amazon logistics centres in Brandenburg and western Poland, as well as to Berlin and Poznań airports, and the DHL parcel centre in Rüdersdorf near Berlin is within easy reach. Berlin is around 100 kilometres away, and Poznań around 175 kilometres. Anyone selling goods doesn’t want to wait long for them to reach where they’re needed.
Since 2014, Faimex Selling GmbH & Co. KG – whose general partner is Faimex Consulting GmbH – has been carrying on this business. What began in Brandenburg has grown into a company with its own name and its own brands.
Our product range grew, as did our services, and with both the space we needed. We moved from Leipziger Straße to the commercial area at Birnbaumsmühle 66, a site covering around 23,000 square metres. That is where we are based today.
We now sell under our own brands via Amazon, Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and self-fulfilled (FBM). Our product range extends from kitchen and household goods through to gardening, leisure and barbecuing (BBQ). We also develop apps for our own operations under the name C4MP. And we work as a service provider for other Amazon sellers.
We use DHL for our deliveries: On weekdays, DHL collects our parcels ready for dispatch twice a day, so that they can be delivered to our customers promptly via the nearby hub in Berlin/Rüdersdorf.
And it goes on: Next, we’re planning to launch with fashion brands.
What remains is what it all began with in 2009: We sell things that people need in their everyday lives, and we care about how they are received.
